We had a very enjoyable bat walk last night with a big thank you to John Drewett of the North Yorks Bat Group. We saw a number of Common Pipistrelle, Soprano Pipistrelle and Daubentons flying over the River Swale. Sadly the Noctules didn’t put in an appearance but we may have had a different Myotis bat which will be worth future investigation. We all learnt alot and also had a great time.
